Simply Saturday {and the new fad i'm into}

well...  this weekend is very relaxing as it is Memorial Day Weekend and I have Monday off of school so we went to the beach!  I'm sure there will be pictures to come!  

1.  I absolutely love the beach!  I love how the towns are so small and you can stay right on the beach and go to it anytime you want!

2.  I am into couponing... {more about that below}

3.  I would much more prefer riding my bike over running or walking!

Now onto the good stuff! - 

I have spent wayyyyy too much time with Anna and have begun to get into couponing!  

Not extreme though... I am just going to take it slow and learn the tips and tricks first...  

I'm sure there will be more to come in the future about that as well!

This weeks theme is...  What I LOVE about Weekends!

1. the best part is...  Sleeping in until about 11 am every week!
2. parties with friends! Yesterday, we had a Zumba party!  fun fun!  
3. soooo much more time to craft and create tutorials for you!

Update for bloggy world:

School- I have been pretty busy with an Oxford Project for Social Studies...  Among other homework...  We have just about 18 days of school left! eek!  

Outside of school- I'm hanging with friends and trying to go for bike rides or at least get outside now that the weather is warmer!  {its supposed to rain this week... :( } 

Crafting- I have lots of projects started! I will have a post soon about the projects!  I am so excited to get started on them!  I have also been doing a lot of little crafts, so be prepared for some detailed tutorials in the next couple weeks!

So I know this is a little late, but better late than never! 

This weeks theme:  family and pets

1.  I have one younger brother named Jordan

2. I have had many fish, but never a dog {i really want one though!}

3. I have lots and lots of distant cousins who i can't even name!

Just a quick one today as I don't have much to say...

I seem to have started having theme's to Simply Saturdays so this week will be 

music.  

1. I don't have a favorite song, artist, or album.  I just listen to what ever is on the radio.  

2. I had a piano recital this morning.  {sorry, its not that random...}

3. I have taken piano lessons for about 7 years now.

1. I have a tradition for when I go skiing!  Every time we stop at the Dairy Queen on the way back, I always get a chocolate Xtreme Blizzard!  YUM YUM!
2. I have been to 2 operas, both of which my friend has been in!  (more about this subject later...)
3. I'm sick of the Oregon Rain! (And I think mostly everybody else is too!)

This post is going to be short and simple because there is not much I can think of to write about!

Onto the Saturday business!  I have chosen to do a theme with this one post and it will be Outdoors and Nature!

1. I am absolutely sick of the rain!  It has rained non-stop and I am getting quite sick of it... (literally too!)


2.  I love the snow.  If I could, I would play in the snow all day during the winter.  


3.  (Noticed how I only said 'winter' in #2?)  Because I need my sun!

Another saturday has come! So onto another quick post as it is really busy around here in western Oregon! As many of you know it has been raining and hailing and overcast non-stop here... Well..... We have finally had a day where it is sunny the whole day! My friends and i spent the day looking and playing with the cute puppies that you can see here and we went to jamba juice and had fun fun fun! well here goes my saturday- 1. I have a fear of empty pools. 2. I have a new love of sperry top-siders 3. My favorite thing to get at starbucks is this:

Ok. Lets see how well this works! Im thinking we will all enjoy this version of simpy saturdays much more than the last! well here goes-

Random things about me you probably don't already know:

1. I cannot stand gnats. I know their harmless, but they seriously annoy me!

2. I cannot just eat yogurt. Doesn't work for me. I have to either eat tiny spoonfuls or drink it.

3. Some of you know this. I have not worn matching socks since 4th grade. Thats 3 and 1/2 years. It started with a bet i made with my friends and i haven't worn matching ones since!

Simply Saturday Series- Post 1!

So, as my first post of simply saturdays, I just have to say that most of them will be about how unorganized I am! Here goes nothing!

My "craft supplies"!!

These are not all of them, but this is where I throw scraps or where I put supplies I use for simple projects!

As you can tell, there are many things in this bag including;

lace

and many other crafty doo-dads!

From the looks of that, im thinkin i should probably start being a bit more organized!

Ok. i know i haven't posted in a loooooong time, so from now on i have a plan to make Spring Saturdays a day for blogging. on a certain subject. a simply saturday series, i will post about one random item in my house. the series will continue through march, april, and may. {there will be other posts so i wont bore you with ONLY simply saturdays!} i will describe it and tell where it came from {if i can remember}.
and i promise i will get the tutorial for the satin flower up soon! and post more often!
